Four student-athletes to receive scholarships at Bloomfield Christmas Tournament

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Cook, Barkett, Ponder and Wolz has announced four student-athletes who will receive academic scholarships during this year’s Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.

The tournament held Dec. 26–30 at Bloomfield High School, brings together area communities for a week of competition and community spirit. Scholarship recipients were selected based on academic achievement, athletic performance, leadership and community involvement.

The 2025 scholarship recipients are Alexa Dillinger, Allie Corlew, Carter Stone and Arthur Goodin. Scholarships will be presented Dec. 30.

“We are proud to recognize these remarkable young people,” attorney J. Michael Ponder said in a statement. “They have demonstrated determination in athletics, academics and service to their communities, and we are committed to supporting their continued growth and success.”
