Fredericktown firefighters battle 2 house fires

FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. (KBSI) – Firefighters in Fredericktown fought two residential fires.

The Fredericktown Fire Department was alerted to a residential fire in the 100 block of Loughborough Street about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 7.

Firefighters found a home on fire with partial structural collapse. The home was determined to be vacant.

Firefighters put out the fire and completed overhaul, returning to service at around 3 a.m. Wednesday. No injuries occurred.

The Madison County Ambulance District, Fredericktown Electric Department and Madison County 911 assisted the Fredericktown Fire Department.

Around  3 p.m. Wednesday, a passing Fredericktown Police Department unit noticed a fire at a home in the 300 block of High Sreet.

Fredericktown Fire Department arrived and found a home partially on fire. All the people in the home were out of the home.

Firefighters put out the fire and performed extensive overhaul of the dwelling.

No was injured.

The Fredericktown Police Department, Madison County Ambulance District and Madison County 911 assisted the fire department.
