Friends of Saint Francis Golf Tournament raises funds for patient assistance

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Golfers, volunteers and sponsors recently came together to raise money to help provide health care resources and other assistance to people in need.
The Saint Francis Foundation thanked the community for its support of the Friends of Saint Francis Golf Tournament.
According to the foundation, money raised through the tournament will help provide lifesaving medications, health screenings, medical supplies, transportation, meals and other essential assistance.
The foundation thanked the golfers, volunteers and sponsors who participated in and supported the tournament.
Organizers said they look forward to hosting the event again next year.
