Fugitive arrested in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – A fugitive was arrested in Cape Girardeau on Tuesday.
Missouri Probation and Parole alerted deputies on June 4 from the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office, part of the Fugitive Task Force that fugitive Michael P. Vincent was at an address in Cape Girardeau.
Deputies conducted surveillance was conducted and say Vincent was seen leaving the location in a vehicle.
A traffic stop was coordinated with the Cape Girardeau Police Department patrol division.
Vincent was arrested on Independence Street near Kingshighway.
At the time of his arrest, Vincent was wanted on six separate warrants issued by the circuit courts of Cape Girardeau County and a probation violation warrant issued by probation and parole.
He was also the subject of a felony arrest warrant from the state of Oregon and felony arrest warrants from Dunklin and New Madrid counties in Missouri.
Deputies say they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on Vincent during the arrest.
