Fugitive caught after hours of surveillance from detectives

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Graves County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest of a fugitive after hours of surveillance.

According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office 33-year-old William Seth Clark of Graves County reportedly had been hiding out from authorities in several locations over the past several weeks. One of those locations was located in the 300 block of East College Street.

Hours long surveillance led Graves County sheriff’s detectives to believe the suspect was in fact inside the home.

Williams was wanted on numerous charges including 7 Counts of 1st Degree Sexual Abuse on a victim Under 12 years old. 2 Counts of Distributing Obscene Matter to Minors, Violation of a Kentucky Emergency Protective Order, and Possession of Methamphetamine.

Williams was arrested in Mayfield Wednesday afternoon around 3 pm.

He was taken to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and later taken to an out of county detention center.
The Mayfield Police Department assisted in the arrest.
