Fugitive facing more charges after sheriff finds him in RV trailer in Lyon County

LYON COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A fugitive was arrested and faces charges after he was found in an RV trailer in Lyon County.

Lyon County Sheriff Brent White responded to a complaint of a fugitive driving a white Buick passenger car on KY 93 South on Sunday, January 21 around 10:15 a.m.

Just before 11 a.m., Sheriff White found the vehicle parked off Dow Road.

He later found a fugitive inside an RV trailer in the same area.

Austin G. Oliver, 38, of Eddyville was arrested.

He faces charges of four outstanding bench warrants all for failure to appear in court to answer charges related to theft, trespassing, and traffic offenses.

Oliver was later taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.

Sheriff White was assisted by Sgt. Shannon Oliver of the Eddyville Police Department.
