Garrett Cooper appointed principal at Lee Hunter Elementary

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — Garrett Cooper has been appointed principal at Lee Hunter Elementary.

Cooper, a Sikeston High School graduate, has 12 years of experience in education and a deep passion for the community.

He began teaching chemistry and biology at Sikeston Senior High School in 2013 and later served as assistant principal at Sikeston Junior High School for four years.

Cooper said he looks forward to building positive relationships and improving educational outcomes for students.

The school district welcomes Cooper to his new role at Lee Hunter Elementary.
