Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri partner up with SEMO for scholarship opportunities

CAPE GIRARDEAU Mo. (KBSI) – Girl Scouts now have new opportunities to grow at Southeast Missouri State University.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri have partnered with SEMO for scholarship opportunities.
Giving Girl Scouts opportunities to grow in an academic setting in a rural area.
The CEO Dr. Natissia Small of Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri got her Bachelor’s Degree from SEMO. Opening this outlet with the school is sentimental to her as she loves opening up the rural community to graduating Girl Scouts.
“Southeast, like many of the other universities in the state of Missouri and across the bridge into Illinois, phenomenal institutions and any institution that has the commitment to empowering our girls in equipping their lives are the institutions that we want to partner with. I know what Southeast is made of. I am a graduate of this Institution as well for my bachelor’s degree and so it was a full circle moment to create an opportunity for girls of Southeast Missouri,” said Small.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri are planning to partner with more schools around the area to help these girls succeed.
