Good Samaritan honored for helping save children’s lives after crash

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A good Samaritan was recognized for her life saving efforts.
Chelcie Lynch stopped to help with a crash on Interstate 69 on Sunday, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say there were two small children trapped inside a vehicle that had crashed.
Lynch saw that one child had a seat belt wrapped around his/her neck and was suffocating as a result. She was able to free both children from the vehicle.
Authorities say there is no doubt Lynch’s actions saved the child’s life.
