FRANKFORT, Ky., (KBSI) — Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear will release a new book this fall exploring the role of faith in public life.
The book, titled Go and Do Likewise, is scheduled for release Sept. 22, 2026.
According to promotional materials, Beshear reflects on how his Christian faith has shaped his family life and approach to public service.
The description says the book argues for reclaiming faith as a force for compassion and rejects what it characterizes as the misuse of religion in politics.
Beshear, a Democrat and the son of former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear, has been a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump. The book’s summary describes it as a call to ground faith in kindness and service.
Publishers describe the book as a candid and hopeful examination of faith’s role in civic life.
