Governor Beshear honors fallen Kentucky sergeant

FRANKFORT, Ky., (KBSI) — Gov. Andy Beshear is asking Kentuckians to keep the family of Sgt. Benjamin Pennington in their thoughts as he is laid to rest.

In a social media post, Beshear encouraged residents to pray for Pennington’s family and remember his service and sacrifice.

The governor described Pennington, of Glendale, as a hero whose contributions will not be forgotten.
