Governor’s visit to Jackson ribbon-cutting canceled; Celebration to proceed as planned

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for Wednesday at TrussWorks, LLC to celebrate its new $5 million facility.

The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. at 2860 TrussWorks Blvd., just north of Liberty Utilities on Highway 61.

TrussWorks leaders and Jackson Mayor Dwain Hahs are scheduled to speak at the event. The public is invited to attend.

The new facility is expected to create 50 new jobs.

Gov. Mike Parson’s Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe was initially scheduled to attend but canceled due to weather.
