Graves County man arrested on meth trafficking charges

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — A Graves County man was arrested Tuesday on two counts of trafficking methamphetamine following an undercover investigation, authorities said.
Sheriff’s detectives took Clifford C. Jones, 55, of Chestnut Cove in Mayfield, into custody around 10 a.m. at the Mayfield Plaza Apartments. Investigators said Jones sold methamphetamine to undercover officers on two occasions during the probe into illegal drug sales in Graves County.
Jones was first taken to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and later transported to an out-of-county detention center. The Mayfield Police Department assisted in the arrest.
