Graves County man receives life sentence after plea agreement

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — A Graves County man has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges, including the rape of a child under 12 and sodomy.

Brian W. Readenour, 48, was sentenced by Graves County Circuit Judge Kevin Bishop.

Readenour had prior convictions for sexual abuse of children and had been on the run from authorities before being caught in Tennessee.

The case was investigated by Graves County Sheriff’s Detective Tony Cornwell and prosecuted by the Graves County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.
