Graves County thanks community for support of annual ‘Cram the Cruiser’ drive

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Graves County Sheriff’s Office is thanking community members and local Dollar General stores for their support of this year’s Cram the Cruiser donation drive.

The 2025 collection effort gathered 1,806 food items for the Mayfield/Graves County Food Pantry, 1,207 toys for the Community Christmas Connection and 509 personal and cleaning items for A New Beginning for Women and Children.

The sheriff’s office said community participation remains strong, noting that since the program began in 2018, more than 30,000 items have been donated to local nonprofit organizations.

Among participating stores, the Wingo Dollar General collected the most overall items with 732, including 390 food items and 159 personal and cleaning items. The Dollar General on U.S. 45 North at Hunt Road collected the most toys with 318.
