Groundbreaking held at Paducah Sports Park

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – Paducah unveils a complex that could bring in more than $100 million in revenue.

The Paducah Sports Park held a groundbreaking ceremony Monday. It is a collaborative project with McCracken County to make the location a regional destination for athletic tournaments.

City leaders hope to hold about 35-40 tournaments each year that could generate around $130 million for the first five years.

Paducah Sports Park holds five rectangular fields, four diamond-shaped fields, playground areas and concession stands.

It is expected to open in late 2025.
