Harley-Davidson to open new dealership at former Illinois Star Centre Mall
MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — The Black Diamond Family of Businesses has announced that Harley-Davidson will join the lineup of elite brands at the reimagined Illinois Star Centre Mall this fall.
The new facility, located adjacent to Oasis Powersports and Oasis Family Entertainment Center, promises a complete destination experience, offering something for everyone, from adventure-seekers to families and thrill enthusiasts.
According to Shad Zimbro, co-owner of the Black Diamond Family of Businesses, the new dealership will be the cornerstone of the destination, featuring powerhouse brands like Polaris, Kawasaki, and Yamaha, as well as the high-energy fun of the Oasis Family Entertainment Center.
Feasibility studies project that the Oasis Retail and Entertainment destination will welcome over 556,000 visitors annually, generating $310 million in direct spending and delivering significant benefits to local schools, businesses, and the Southern Illinois economy.
The next-generation Harley-Davidson showroom will offer a personalized experience, creating deeper connections to the Harley-Davidson culture and community. The facility will also feature a state-of-the-art service department, maintaining the company’s Gold Medal standard for maintenance and custom builds.
With the launch of the new dealership, the company will cease operations at its Mt. Vernon-based franchise, Roadhouse Harley-Davidson, opening up possibilities for the property.
