Harrisburg man arrested by Carrier Mills police

CARRIER MILLS, Ill., (KBSI) — Mick J. Chamness, 22, of Harrisburg, was arrested Monday by Carrier Mills police and charged with escape/failure to return from furlough and criminal damage to property.

Chamness was taken into custody at a private residence on Railroad Street after police received information that he had removed an ankle bracelet and failed to return from a court-approved furlough.

He is being held at the Saline County Jail.
