Hayti Indian Football hosts Thanksgiving community give-back event

HAYTI, Mo., (KBSI) – The Hayti Indian Football program hosted a Thanksgiving community give-back event on Monday, Nov. 24, to thank residents for their continued support.

Organizers said the effort was meant to show appreciation to the community, noting that “it takes a village” to make the program’s success possible.

The event took place from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Hayti School Cafeteria, where volunteers distributed turkeys and nonperishable side items. Families were able to take a box home to prepare a complete holiday meal.

The program thanked community members who stopped by to participate in the holiday giveaway.
