Hayti police officers arrest 3 on various charges

PEMISCOT COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – Three people were arrested in Pemiscot County on various charges.

On April 2, Hayti officers found and arrested Freddy Payne, 44, of Hayti in the 200 block of East Cleveland Street.

Payne had two active warrants through Pemiscot County for Assault 1st Degree and Assault 3rd Degree.

Payne was taken to the Pemiscot County Jail where he was being held without bond.

On April 3, Hayti officers performed a traffic stop in the 700 block of West Washington Street.

Hayti Officers arrested the driver Darrell Mires, 53, of McEwen Tennessee on an active warrant for vehicular homicide through Shelby County, Tenn.

Mires was processed and transported to the Pemiscot County Jail where he is awaiting extradition to Shelby County.

On April 3,Hayti officers located and arrested Karl O. McGee, 47, of Hayti in the 500 block of North 4th Street.

McGee had an active warrant through Dunklin County for failure to appear on the original charge of driving while revoked/suspended.

McGee was processed and transported to the Pemiscot County Jail where he is awaiting extradition to the Dunklin County Justice Center.
