Hayti police recover stolen vehicle, arrest juvenile suspect

HAYTI, Mo., (KBSI) — Police recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested a juvenile suspect after an investigation into a theft report.

Officers responded to a local business on April 26 at approximately 10:30 p.m. and obtained vehicle information from the victim.

Surveillance footage helped identify three possible suspects. The stolen vehicle was located and returned to its owner the next day, but property was found to be missing.

On April 28, Hayti police and the Pemiscot County Juvenile Office located two suspects, who were escorted to the police department by their parents.

The missing property was recovered, and one juvenile was arrested and turned over to the Pemiscot County Juvenile Office pending formal charges.
