Herrin police investigate disturbance, seek public’s assistance

HERRIN, Ill., (KBSI) – The Herrin Police Department responded to a disturbance in the 800 block of Pierce Square on April 6, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a male with non-life-threatening injuries, who was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The incident is currently under investigation, and authorities are seeking video footage from the public that may have captured the incident or events leading up to it.

The Herrin Police Department thanked the Illinois State Police Crime Scene and Williamson County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the investigation.
