Hotshots in danger of losing liquor license following March 4 shooting

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – A recent shooting at a local bar may lead to a liquor license suspension.

Three people are facing multiple charges following a March 4 shooting at Hotshots Bar and Grill in downtown Cape Girardeau.

Four people were injured when shots rang out over a pool game disagreement and, according to city officials, the business liquor license will be suspended starting March 24.

The length of the suspension has not yet been determined.

Hotshots management could appeal the suspension, which would result in a suspension delay.
