I-55 in New Madrid County reduced to one lane for bridge maintenance

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — A section of Interstate 55 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.

The lane reduction will occur from mile marker 60 to mile marker 58 on Jan. 15-16, weather permitting. Work will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution while traveling through the work zone, which will remain in place until the work is completed.
