I-57 northbound closed near West Frankfort after motorcycle crash

WEST FRANKFORT, Ill., (KBSI) — Northbound Interstate 57 is temporarily closed about two miles north of the West Frankfort exit following a motorcycle crash with injuries.

Officials said the interstate was shut down to allow a medical helicopter to land on the roadway. The closure is expected to last about 45 minutes before traffic reopens.
