Illinois State Police; shooting investigation underway in Mounds

MOUNDS, Ill., (KBSI) — Illinois State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday night in the 100 block of North Spencer Street.

According to preliminary information, one male victim was struck by gunfire and transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department requested ISP assistance with the investigation, which is ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
