Illinois woman arrested in Paducah for forged prescriptions
PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — Bonnie S. Jensen, 54, of Peoria, Illinois, was arrested Tuesday on four counts of possession of a forged prescription.
Jensen attempted to pass a forged prescription at a local pharmacy to obtain Oxycodone and other controlled substances, police said.
The investigation began Dec. 31, 2024, when pharmacy staff reported suspicious activity. Jensen allegedly presented a fraudulent prescription, which staff refused to fill. She then attempted to pass additional forged prescriptions at two other pharmacies.
Jensen was arrested at a pharmacy Tuesday after staff contacted police. She was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
