Inauguration Day takeaways from NOW Local News App users

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – NOW Local News App users shared their takeaways from Inauguration Day.

“Being able to flip and get into indoors when everything was being planned outdoors, that’s awesome,” Kathy said.

“So far, the biggest takeaways that I have seen is that he plans on signing several executive orders today,” Kate said. “I know they are close to around 100 now, based off some recent research, but he plans on doing around 200 by the end of the day.”

“It’ll be interesting to see how his energy ideas will work out with lowering pricing,” Jill said. “Also, I was very surprised to hear about him wanting to rename the Gulf of Mexico and also how strong he is talking about taking back the Panama Canal.”

“There was just a lot of other things to unpack from today,” Christy said, “and I’m curious and interested to hear about all the things to come the next coming months, because some of those things can actually happen quite quickly.”
