Independence Day 5K for a cause held in Jackson
JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – The Annual Independence Day 5K was held in Jackson Independence Day morning.
The race started at 7:04 a.m. It began and ended at Healthpoint in Jackson.
The race was hosted by Mercy. Proceeds go to the Mercy Health Foundation’s Southeast Children’s Wellness Fund.
The race is considered challenging with lots of hills. Lots of community members, families and My Team Triumph members were in attendance.
The race has been held annually for more than 25 years.
