Interim police chief appointed in Marble Hill
MARBLE HILL, Mo. (KBSI) – The city of Marble Hill has appointed an interim police chief.
The appointment is after all members of the Marble Hill Police Department submitted their resignations to the Marble Hill City Council.
According to the information provided, those resignations will be effective as of Friday, August 23.
The city of Marble Hill’s attorney Richard Whiffen says the interim chief will take over Friday night.
Applications for police officer positions are coming in.
City leaders have arranged for temporary help until the positions are filled.
