Investigation leads to drug trafficking arrests in Paducah

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) – A Paducah man and woman were arrested Aug. 14 after police said an investigation into drug trafficking led detectives to their residence on Park Avenue.
The Paducah Police Department’s Drug Unit began investigating a complaint of drug activity and determined that Luther Robinson, 34, was selling illegal drugs. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the home in the 2200 block of Park Avenue.
Police said the department’s SWAT team and drug detectives executed the warrant and seized about 25 grams of cocaine, two pounds of marijuana, 12 ounces of synthetic marijuana, digital scales, U.S. currency and a handgun. Detectives determined the handgun belonged to Misty Robinson, 46.
Luther Robinson, who has an extensive criminal history and is on parole for drug trafficking, was arrested on charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine), trafficking in marijuana and trafficking in synthetic drugs.

Both were booked into the McCracken County Jail. The Paducah Police Department thanked the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department for assisting with the investigation.
