Iowa woman arrested in Paducah after police say she planned to have sex with minor

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – An Iowa woman faces charges after detectives say she traveled to Paducah planning to have sex with a minor.

Brisen Brodigan, 20, of Dysart, Iowa faces a charge of promotion a minor, under 16, in a sex performance.

Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office were notified on Oct. 15 than an adult female was traveling to Paducah to meet a juvenile who she had been having an online relationship.

Brodigan arrived in Paducah around 3 p.m. on Oct. 18 and was arrested by detectives.

Detectives discovered evidence of Brodigan’s online sexual relationship and learned that she was planning to have physical contact with the juvenile, who was under the age of 16 years old, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Brodigan was taken to the McCracken County Jail on charges of promoting a minor, under 16, in a sex performance.

Dysart, Iowa is 7.5 hours drive from Paducah, Kentucky.
