“It’s always a good time” WWE superstars ready to entertain in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – With Saturday Night’s Main Event quickly approaching, the excitement is building.

Superstar Bobby Lashley cannot wait to see thousands of screaming fans when WWE invades the Show-Me Center Saturday, June 11.

“Wrestling shows are just something else,” he said. “It’s one of the greatest and largest audiences of any sports entertainment company in the entire world. It’s always a good time. It’s a time you can come, and you can yell and scream and have a good time and just watch a great show.”

Angelo Dawkins of the tag team Street Profits shared this excitement.

“Get your popcorn ready,” he said. “A lot of superstars are going to come out, get ready to put on a show, let you guys enjoy it, be a part of the fun, kick it, you know what I’m saying.”

Lashley said that like any entertainment product, WWE has its critics, but Lashley wants fans to keep things on the fun side.

“I love those people that just want to come and have a good time,” he said. “When they come and have a good time, that just leads to the greatest show they’ve ever been to.”

Lashley said you do not have to be a die-hard WWE or wrestling fan to thoroughly enjoy the show.

“I can guarantee you’ll have a good time, everyone who comes,” he said. “If you’ve never been to a show before, you don’t need to know the characters. Just come and watch the show and I guarantee you’ll be a fan. You’ll have a new love.”
