Jackknifed semi slows traffic on I-24 Westbound in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — McCracken County Emergency Management is warning drivers of traffic delays on Interstate 24 westbound near the 5.2-mile marker.
Officials said a semi-truck jackknifed into the median, blocking part of the roadway.
The far right lane remains open, but traffic is slowing and backing up.
Members of the McCracken County Emergency Management Rescue Squad were dispatched to assist with traffic control and improve safety in the area. Motorists are urged to slow down, remain alert and be prepared for delays.
