Jackson Area Chamber to host annual banquet, board installation

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — The Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Banquet and Installation on Friday, Jan. 16, at the Jackson Civic Center.
The event will recognize business, community, educational and lifetime achievement award recipients. Winners will also receive proclamations from elected state officials. In addition, executives for the Chamber’s Board of Directors will be installed.
The banquet is scheduled from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Chamber officials said approximately 600 people have RSVP’d for the annual event.
“This is a night of celebration and recognition of those leading our community,” said Brian Gerau, CEO of the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce. “This night is about their accomplishments and dedication to making Southeast Missouri a better place to live and work.”
