Jackson city employees celebrate Cap Day during Missouri Local Government Week

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — City of Jackson employees celebrated “Cap Day” this week as part of Missouri Local Government Week.

City officials said employees wore new caps featuring the city’s updated logo to recognize the work local government employees do to support the community and provide public services.

The city thanked employees for participating in the event and for their continued service to residents throughout the year.

Officials also encouraged residents to view photos shared by departments across the city during the celebration.
