JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — Twenty-four years after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the Jackson Chamber of Commerce joined first responders and community members in a memorial walk to honor the men and women who lost their lives and the families they left behind.

The walk served as both a tribute to the nearly 3,000 victims of 9/11 and a recognition of the ongoing service of local first responders.

Chamber officials thanked police, fire, EMS, and other emergency personnel for their commitment to the safety and well-being of the community.
