Jackson High School students compete in Southeast Missouri Job Olympics

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — Students from Jackson High School joined peers from other area high schools on Feb. 28, 2025, at the Jackson Civic Center for the Southeast Missouri Job Olympics.

The competition featured events that simulated real-life job performance situations, including stocking shelves, sorting laundry, cleaning buildings and completing tasks such as vacuuming and sweeping.

The Job Olympics aims to promote transition and employability skills among high school students from various schools across the region.

By engaging students in realistic job scenarios, the competition helps participants develop their strengths and prepare for future careers.
