Jackson man accused of rummaging through vehicles in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – A Jackson man faces felony weapons charges after police say he rummaged through items in a vehicle.

On Monday, June 12, 2023, at about 7 p.m. officers with the Cape Girardeau Police Department responded to the 500 block of N. Kingshighway for a report of a possible armed robbery.

Myquille Anderson, 29, is charged with a Class E felony of unlawful use of a weapon and a Class D felony of unlawful possession of a firearm.

Officers arrived on the scene and learned a suspect was inside the victim’s vehicle rummaging through items. The victim approached Anderson and police say he pointed a firearm at the victim. Anderson then ran from the area. He arrested by Cape Girardeau police officers.

Anderson was being held on a $75,000 cash bond.
