Jackson man arrested after 1 injured in Bollinger County shooting
BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – A Jackson man wanted out of Bollinger County in connection to a shooting is now in custody.
Christian Knotts, 18, of Jackson faces charges of assault 1st degree – Class A felony, robbery 1st degree – Class A felony and armed criminal action – unclassified felony.
The Bollinger County sheriff asked for the public’s help finding a man facing several charges after a person was shot on Monday.
The arrest warrant was issued out of Bollinger County by the Honorable Judge Alan Beussink with a bond of $500,000 cash only.
On Monday, June 5, the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a person with a gunshot wound at a subdivision on Missouri Highway 34 East within Bollinger County.
The Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by investigators with the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control.
During the investigation, information and evidence was collected which led to Knotts being identified as a suspect in the investigation.
The Bollinger County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Knotts.
