Jackson police officer placed on leave after allegations

JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – An officer with the Jackson Police Department has been placed on administrative leave.

The officer is on leave after “allegations of an incident regarding one of our officers,” according to the news release from the Jackson Police Department.

Jackson police would not comment on the specifics about the incident.

The officer will be on administrative leave until that investigation is complete.

The case has been turned over to the Missouri State Highway Patrol for an independent review and investigation.

The Jackson Police Department will release more information after the independent investigation has concluded.
