Jackson R-2, Saint Francis hold ribbon cutting for Ignite CAPs Program

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — The Jackson R-2 School District and Saint Francis Healthcare System celebrated the launch of the inaugural JR2 Ignite CAPs program this week, marking a new opportunity for Jackson High School students.

The program is designed to provide hands-on learning experiences and career preparation for students while building stronger partnerships between education and the region’s workforce.

District officials said they are excited to see the long-term impact of the program on both students and the broader community.
