Jackson R-2 School District launches IGNITE CAPS Program
JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — The Jackson R-2 School District has partnered with Saint Francis Healthcare System to launch the IGNITE CAPS program, providing students with hands-on experience in the medical field.
The program, which kicked off Monday at the Saint Francis Healthcare System campus, combines classroom instruction with on-site training at the hospital.
Students will work under the guidance of a classroom teacher and clinical professional to gain real-world experience in various aspects of the medical industry.
Additionally, students interested in pursuing a career in education will be placed in Jackson R-2 classrooms as part of a “grow your own” program.
