Jackson R-2 schools honors North Elementary custodian with JRII Excellence Award nomination

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) – Jackson R-2 Schools has nominated North Elementary custodian Larry Harris for a JR2 Excellence Award.

Harris is known for his cheerful demeanor and willingness to lend a hand, whether it’s removing critters from the building or assisting students with everyday tasks.

“He’s always happy and helpful,” said a school spokesperson. “His positive attitude is contagious.”

Harris takes the time to learn students’ names and helps them with tasks such as opening milk cartons and wrappers during lunch.

The JR2 Excellence Award recognizes teachers and staff members who go above and beyond their daily job duties.
