Jackson street department to enhance motorist visibility with roadway re-striping project

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — City street department crews will re-stripe roadways throughout Jackson from April to July, weather permitting, to improve motorist visibility.

Crews will re-paint centerlines, stopping bars, turn arrows, parking zones and crosswalks, using warning signs, flashing lights and barricades to ensure safety.

Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution and give workers space while passing through striping areas.
