JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — The City of Jackson will begin a citywide roadway striping project in the coming weeks to improve visibility and safety for motorists.
Street Department crews are expected to work from April through July, weather permitting, with projects taking place in various locations across the city.
Officials said safety measures, including warning signs, flashing lights and barricades, will be in place during the work. Crews will be repainting centerlines, stop bars, turn arrows, parking areas and crosswalks.
Motorists are urged to use caution, slow down and allow crews and equipment adequate space while traveling through work zones.
