Jefferson County authorities seek public’s help in locating wanted individuals

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ill. — Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating three individuals wanted on outstanding warrants.

James Holenka, 43, is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender. He is described as 5’7″ and 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in Mt. Vernon.

Brian Teriet, 45, is wanted for failure to appear on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual assault. He is described as 5’11” and 219 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address was in Dix.

Thomas Williams, 38, is wanted for failure to appear on a charge of failure to report a change of address as a sex offender. He is described as 5’8″ and 215 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in Bonnie.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these individuals is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or Jefferson County Crime Stoppers anonymously at 618-242-TIPS (8477).

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
