Jefferson County man faces burglary and weapons charge

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) -The Road Patrol and Jefferson County Detective Bureau say their making the county a safer place after responding to an alleged forced entry situation.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on May 27, 2026, Tony K. Stewart of High Ridge was arrested for allegedly forcing his way into an apartment, then pointing a gun at the victim.
Road Patrol Deputies say they responded to the incident and located Stewart and took him into custody and Detective Bureau took over the investigation.
Stewart faces a Burglary charge – 1st Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
Stewart is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $50,000 surety bond.
