Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office plans Christmas Eve radio announcement

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office announced plans for a special Christmas Eve broadcast, pending time and call volume.
Officials said a special announcement is expected around 9 p.m. on both the sheriff’s office and fire department’s former radio frequencies. Residents with police scanners may be able to hear the message.
The sheriff’s office encouraged families to let children listen if possible.
