John LaRose, co-founder of LaRose Studios in Perryville, dies, age 84

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — John M. LaRose Sr., co-founder of LaRose Studio and several agricultural organizations, died Sunday at his home. He was 84.

Born Dec. 26, 1940, in Perryville, LaRose was married to Regina K. Moore. He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, John M. LaRose Jr. and Kurt D. LaRose; a sister, Mary Ann Wucher; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday at Ford & Young Funeral Home, with a funeral Mass on Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Vincent de Paul Schools.
